Dispatching problems spark Metra delays today on Union Pacific

Metra is warning Union Pacific riders to expect delays ranging from 10 to 30 minutes. The line runs between Chicago and Waukegan.

"Currently there are three trains on the UP Northwest and one on the UP West that are delayed," spokesman Michael Gillis said at 10:30 a.m. The issues are related to the dispatching system.

Riders should check the "Track Your Train" feature on Metra's website at https://metrarail.com/.
