Palatine Sesquicentennial Gala is October 22, 2016: Join the Celebration!

Throughout 2016, the Village of Palatine has been celebrating its sesquicentennial year; its 150th birthday since incorporation.

The final Palatine 150 Signature event - the Palatine Sesquicentennial Gala - will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 11 p.m. at The Cotillion Banquets in Palatine. This event is black tie optional.

The event will include a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. A program will then be presented, including a first-time viewing of the Palatine commemorative video, that will highlight the Village's rich history, and the residents of today.

"There is so much positive anticipation about the upcoming Gala; we know it will be a beautiful evening to remember as we honor our Village and this historical milestone we are fortunate to be a part of," said Melanie Santostefano, Palatine 150 Gala Committee chair.

A four-course meal will include wine during dinner, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening. Live entertainment will be provided by the Bluewater Kings Band, and dancing will be encouraged!

Tickets are $60 per person and $600 per table of 10. Table sponsor opportunities, which include ten Gala tickets, are available in limited quantities. For more information, email info@Palatine150.com. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Previous Palatine 150 Signature Events have included the Founders' Day Ceremony on Saturday, April 2 (the official 150th birthday) and the Good Ol' Summertime Festival on June 6. The 'Palatine 150 Rail Ale' Launch Party to introduce the special brew developed by Emmett's Brewing Company was held on June 16.
