'Go for the Gold' at women's golf outing Sept. 13

Fun and laughter abound at the NISRA Foundation's Women's Golf Outing, raising funds for local residents with disabilities to attend community recreation programs.

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, ladies will gather at Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee for a round of nine holes of golf for players of all ability levels.

Now in its 16th year, this non-competitive event benefits Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association programs for children and adults with disabilities.

The day includes special contests in keeping with this year's "Go for the Gold" theme, prizes, raffles, gifts, and a lunch.

A prize will be awarded for "Best Dressed Foursome" representing a country or Olympic sport.

Players can bid on a male caddy that will provide treats for the foursome and assistance on the golf course. The deadline for registration and payment is Aug. 30. To sign up, visit www.nisra.org.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and volunteers are welcome to assist at this fun-filled event. Contact Holly at (815) 459-0737, ext. 231 or hdorn@nisra.org for more information.
