The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove Duck Race is Coming Up Soon!

The annual Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove Duck Race is coming up soon!

This exciting, family-friendly fundraising event will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 during Buffalo Grove Days! The race course has been enlarged and improved, and the event will be held between the carnival and arts and crafts areas.

You can purchase one Lucky Duck, a Quack Pack (25) or a Flock (100) online for your chance to win 13 cash prizes! First prize is $1,500, second prize is $500, third place is $250 and there will be ten, $100 winners! Visit here to learn more: http://www.bgrotary.org/duckrace/index.html.

So where do the funds go that area raised from the Duck Race? This yearly fundraiser raises money for literacy programs in Buffalo Grove area elementary schools, local food bank assistance through the Kingwood United Methodist Church, the Rotary Village Green Concert Series, holiday food baskets, in addition to international efforts to eradicate polio and promote clean water initiatives as well as a number of other programs both local and international.

The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove invites you to get into the competition and purchase a duck (or 100!) become a sponsor, or simply come by and cheer everyone on at the race - it starts at 5:00 p.m. during Buffalo Grove Days at its new location at Mike Rylko Park​!
