The scholarship program is funded with the help of EFS Foundation and funds raised from auxiliary projects.

The scholarship winners include: Deniz Namik of Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville; Elizabeth Acuna of Larkin High School in Elgin; Alexis Santana and Caroline Treadwell, both of St. Charles North High School; Alyssa Duruelo of St. Edward High School in Elgin; Sarah Fannin, Noemi Hernandez and Sharai Orozco, all of Streamwood High School; and Rediat Ephrem and Jaqueline Calabrese, both of Westminster Christian School in Elgin.
