The Round Lake Area B.E.S.T. Coalition (Bringing Everyone's Strengths Together) will meet Thursday, Aug. 11, at 8:30 a.m. at the Round Lake Area Library, 906 Hart Road, Round Lake. The Lake County Consolidated Transportation Services Committee is presenting Lake County's new website designed for riders - primarily "paratransit" for seniors and the disabled, but also the general public. In addition, a speaker will explain transportation to medical services for people with Medicaid, Medicare and other insurances. B.E.S.T. is a coalition that networks and collaborates for Round Lake-area residents. This is a membership organization and guests are welcome to attend. Visit www.rlabest.org for more information.
