Illinois man killed in South Dakota motorcycle crash ID'd

ROCHFORD, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified an Illinois man who died in a motorcycle crash in western South Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Robert Center, of Pekin, Illinois, lost control of his bike on a curve on a Pennington County road and hit a guard rail near Rochford.

Center was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was alone on the bike.
