School supply drive

A school supply drive to benefit Hawthorn Elementary District 73 is set for 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Chick-fil-A, 701 N. Milwaukee Ave. Ste. 360, Vernon Hills. Supplies needed include: colored pencils (set of 12); notebooks (spiral, 70 pages); crayons (Crayola, box of 24); dry erase thin markers; erasers, plain pink pearl; Elmer's large glue stick; various colors of highlighters; Crayola markers (box of 10); 3-by5-inch index cards; wide, loose leaf paper; #2 Dixon pencils; soft pouch type pencil case; red, black and blue pens (not erasable); post-it notes; protractors; 12-inch rulers; scissors; folders (2) red, (2) green, (2) yellow, black, purple and orange.
