Lake Villa Days festival begins Aug. 4
Lake Villa Days will be held Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 4-7, at Lehmann Park in downtown Lake Villa. This will be the 83rd consecutive year for this event.
The festival runs from 5 p.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday, noon to midnight Saturday, and noon to close Sunday.
Highlights of the festival include:
• Firefighter's water fights at 5 p.m. Saturday.
• Local businessmen's and women's water fights at noon Sunday; registration starts at 11 a.m.
• Rides, bingo, gaming and refreshments.
• Live entertainment starting at approximately 9 p.m. featuring Bella Cain on Friday and Mike & Joe on Saturday.
