Heading to Harvard!

St. Joseph Catholic School(Libertyville) principal, Anne Phoenix, was recently selected by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Schools to attend a week-long seminar at Harvard's Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mrs. Phoenix was one of seven principals in the Archdiocese of Chicago selected to attend the 2016 Data Wise Cohort in June. This seminar will focus on using student data to help make instructional decisions in order to increase student achievement. Accompanying Mrs. Phoenix are two SJCS teachers, middle school English Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Casey Hadjis, and fifth grade English Language Arts/Social Studies teacher, Ms. Stephanie Emmerich. They look forward to an informative week that will enhance teaching strategies and student achievement.
