Mancino re-elected municipal league leader
For the third consecutive year, the municipalities in Lake County have elected Hawthorn Woods Mayor Joseph Mancino to serve as president of the Lake County Municipal League. The Lake County Municipal League is a council of more than 40 cities and villages in Lake County dedicated to furthering excellence in municipal government through information sharing and networking, intergovernmental cooperation, and advocacy for the common interests of its membership. Before his first election as president, Mancino served on the group's board of directors for four years and held the position of secretary. He has been serving as Hawthorn Woods' mayor since 2009.
