A-Rod back in lineup at DH, looks to snap 2-for-22 slump

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Alex Rodriguez is back as the New York Yankees' designated hitter for the first time in a week, looking to snap his struggles at the plate.

A-Rod was listed on the posted lineup outside the clubhouse for Saturday night's game at Tampa Bay. The 41-year old slugger didn't start in New York's previous six games because of 2-for-22 slump. Carlos Beltran had replaced him at DH.

Rodriguez enters Saturday hitting .210 with nine homers and 29 RBIs.

It's his 55th start at DH this season.
