US Coast Guard tall ship visiting Salem, Massachusetts

SALEM, Mass. (AP) - Salem's harbor has a bewitching new presence this weekend: a U.S. Coast Guard tall ship.
The Barque Eagle is moored at the Cruise Terminal and offering free tours to the public.
The 295-foot-long vessel is part of the Coast Guard's deployment for summer cadets in training. Salem is one of 11 stops, which have included Bermuda and three European ports. Next up: New York City.
Visitors can tour the ship on Saturday until 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Eagle was built in Germany in 1936 and has served as a Coast Guard classroom-at-sea since 1946. It's the largest tall ship flying the U.S. flag and is the only active square-rigger in government service.
