Streamwood Summer Celebration runs through Sunday
The Streamwood Summer Celebration got underway Friday night, featuring a carnival, bingo, children's activities, games, food/beer tent, live entertainment on multiple stages and a business expo.
The festival hours continues from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoosier Grove Park, 700 W. Irving Park Road. Admission is free and details are at streamwoodsummercelebration.org.
There is a parade at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Streamwood Boulevard and Bartlett Road, west on Streamwood Boulevard to Hoosier Grove Park. The theme is "Picnic in the Park."
