25N Cares Outreach to collect for CASA Kane County's Suitcase Program

July 26, 2016 - 25N Coworking announces the debut of 25N Cares, a program that evaluates and launches volunteer and fundraising programs for participation by its members and the greater community.

Since its opening in February 2015, 25N Coworking has helped various community nonprofits through fundraisers and volunteering. Now these efforts fall under the 25N Cares program.

CASA Kane County's suitcase initiative is the first program officially supported by 25N Cares. Beginning on Monday, Aug. 1, collections for CASA's "Gift Card, Suitcase, and Incidentals" program will take place at 25N Coworking, 25 N. Third St. in Geneva.

The public is welcome to participate to fulfill the 25N Cares collection goal of:

• Twenty-five diaper bags - must be new, with tags on;

• Twenty-five duffel bags - must be new, with tags on;

• $2,000 in cash, gift cards (Kohl's, Target, etc.), or gas cards.

Meagan Schoenrock, director of community development for 25N Coworking, is thrilled that the 25N Cares program kicks off by supporting CASA.

"We are incredibly excited to launch the 25N Cares campaign because this action really describes the roots of 25N Coworking," enthused Schoenrock. "It is our goal to be involved with the community in every location we open.

"CASA Kane County has been with us since we opened our doors in February 2015, and it makes perfect sense to kick off this campaign with them to positively impact the lives of the children they serve," she continued. "This mirrors what 25N Coworking is all about and we can't wait to get started."

The public is invited to join the initiative and can bring their donations to 25N Coworking through Friday, Sept. 30. Lori Hewitt, director of development for CASA Kane County, says that every donation is greatly appreciated.

"We love working with fabulous organizations, such as 25N Coworking, who are committed to help groups like CASA Kane County," Hewitt mentioned. "The collections they give us will make a difference in so many of our children's lives."
