30 artists show at Tree of Life UU's 'Celebration of Art'

Elizabeth Waddington's bright florals will be on exhibit and for sale at the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation's two-day "Celebration of Art" event.

She will be joined by 29 other artists in a wide variety of mediums and styles. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 30, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 31, in the church building and under tents on the extensive grounds at 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry.

The public can meet the artists at a reception at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Each artist will also donate a piece to a raffle benefiting CASA of McHenry County which provides trained volunteers to advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect in juvenile court and in the foster care system.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time during exhibit hours. Admission to the "Celebration" is free. Visit treeoflifeuu.org.
