Ann Maine guest at fireside chat
Lake County Forest Preserve District Board President Ann Maine is the next guest in a fireside chat series from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83. Maine joins Round Lake Beach Mayor Rich Hill for the monthly event intended to bring county and state government closer to local residents. A meet-and-greet is at 6 p.m. followed by an informal conversation between Hill, Maine and moderators from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. A question-and-answer session follows.
