Nebraska Gov. Ricketts to address Indiana GOP delegation

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts is expected to speak to Republican delegates from Indiana while attending the party's national convention in Cleveland.

The first-term governor is scheduled to address the group at a breakfast event on Thursday. Ricketts arrived in Cleveland on Tuesday and will remain in the city until Friday.

Ricketts threw his support behind Donald Trump in May after the last of Trump's opponents dropped out of the GOP presidential primary race. Ricketts' backing was noteworthy because his family members helped bankroll an effort to deny Trump the party's nomination.

Ricketts will also speak to Nebraska's delegation and participate in several events with the group later this week.
