Netflix Inc., down $12.97 to $85.84

The internet video service reported weak subscriber growth as it raises prices, and its quarterly results disappointed Wall Street.

VMWare Inc., up $5.66 to $68.23

The cloud computing company's second-quarter results were stronger than expected and it raised its estimates for the year.

Johnson & Johnson, up $2.11 to $125.25

The health care company posted strong results for its prescription drug business and raised its financial projections for the year.

Super Micro Computer Inc., down $7.32 to $19.02

The server technology company slashed its forecasts for the fiscal fourth quarter, citing a variety of problems.

Philip Morris International Inc., down $3.11 to $99.89

The Marlboro maker reported a smaller-than-expected profit and weaker sales as cigarette shipments declined.

Humana Inc., down $6.26 to $153.38

The health insurer tumbled on reports the federal government will try to block its merger with competitor Aetna.

W.W. Grainger Inc., down $11.07 to $217.78

The seller of maintenance and other supplies disclosed weak second-quarter results and lowered its profit forecast.

SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc., down $2.76 to $10.50

The drugmaker said it is no longer in active talks with potential buyers and plans to remain an independent company.
