Coffee with a Cop at the new Barrington Square McDonald's

On Monday, July 18, at the new Barrington Square McDonald's on Higgins Road, customers came in to have coffee with the cops. Many people from the community came in to meet the Hoffman Estates officers.

Terry and Mary Nixon came in just to tell them how they appreciate all they do to keep the community safe. Dianne Black, a 40-year resident of Hoffman Estates and a graduate of the Citizens Police Academy, also came in to talk with the officers and thank them for their service. The Bending Family came in with a basket of fruit for the officers and each of the kids gave the officers a hand written thank you note.

This event was all part of the Barrington Square McDonald's Grand Opening festivities. Special thank you to Sergeant Mark Mueller, who coordinated the Coffee with a Cop event. Thank you also to Lieutenant Felgenhauer and all the other officers that came and served coffee and mingled with the community.

Come in and see the new restaurant and enter the grand opening raffles. When you stop in look at all the special events that the new McDonald's has planned for the community to enjoy through Aug. 14. The next Coffee with a Cop event will be at the new Roselle Road, McDonald's from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Sept. 16.

The owner of the Barrington Square McDonald's thanks the community for all their support during all the Grand Opening events. He is so proud to have this beautiful restaurant on Higgins Road, in Hoffman Estates, and proud to be a part of this great community. This event was courtesy of the Hoffman Estates McDonald's owner/operator, David Bear.
