The Springs at Monarch Landing Launches Respite Rehab Program

The Springs at Monarch Landing has launched its Respite Rehab Program. The unique initiative is designed to help patients not quite ready to go home from a hospital stay, while not meeting insurance qualifications for skilled care. The Respite Rehab Program provides the necessary support between hospital and home.

The Respite Rehab Program is customized for each guest, based on his or her specific goals. Dr. Lynette Rennecker, the dedicated on-site medical director for The Springs, oversees and coordinates the care of each rehab guest with The Springs' team of nurses, therapists, social worker and registered dietician.

"The Respite Rehab Program provides a vital service for individuals who are not quite ready to go home after an illness or injury requiring a hospital stay," said Samantha Breden, director of business development. "The program bridges the gap to ensure that when patients do eventually go home, they feel safe and are strong, and ready to be home."

A special $200/day rate includes recommended occupational, physical and speech therapies, 24-hour nursing care and medication administration. Guests stay in a private suite with private en suite full bath, gourmet personalized dining service and complimentary Wi-Fi, cable and telephone service.
