Itasca Fest offers fun for all members of the family

Family-friendly activities were the focus Saturday as Itasca Fest continued its four-day run at Washington Park, 350 E. Irving Park Road.

Fest-goers could check out exotic animals, jugglers, stilt-walkers and magicians, or enjoy activities like getting their faces painted and taking pony rides.

There will be plenty for adults to do Sunday, as well, including shopping at a flea market or seeing their reflections in shiny classic cars.

The musical lineup for Sunday features the Pullman Jazz Society at 2 p.m., The Prissillas at 5:30 p.m. and American English at 8:30 p.m.

Admission and parking are free and the fest grounds will be open from noon to 11 p.m. Sunday. For details, visit itasca.com.
