Eby-Brown builds new distribution center in Kentucky

NAPERVILLE - Eby-Brown Co. said it will open a new 300,000 square foot distribution center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, fueling its expansion into the Mid-South market.

The new center is scheduled to open Jan. 2, 2017 and will initially serve 750 customers in the Kentucky, Tennessee, and southern Indiana and Ohio markets.

"We are moving full-speed ahead to expand in the Mid-South with the same focus we have always had, delivering the best solutions and service to our customers, said Thomas Wake, co-president of Eby-Brown. "We are actively recruiting an additional 250 Eby-Brown 'family' members to staff our new facility."

Eby-Brown recently expanded their network East with the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based Liberty USA, a $550 million supplier to convenience store retailers.
