Muslim Association of Bolingbrook to Celebrate Eid Festival with Community to Build Bridges.

Muslim Association of Bolingbrook (MAB) will be celebrating Eid Festival on Saturday, July 16th, from 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 351 Veterans Pkwy, Bolingbrook, IL 60490.

The Eid Festival will be celebrated with friends, families, and neighbors with an indoor bazaar, delicious food, and fun activities.

The Bolingbrook Mayor, Mr. Roger Claar, along with the State Senator, Mr. Pat McGuire, will be expected to attend the festival.

The festival is open to people of all faiths and race and will include a blood and bone marrow drive. Additionally, refugee families and children from Syria and Burma have also been invited to this event.

"This is an opportunity for everyone to come together, and we are excited to be able to host refugee children who have come from very unfortunate situations, leaving their homes for safety. It is an opportunity for us to serve them and for our community to have fun! It's a fun for all event, to help fight the bigotry by creating a diverse and loving atmosphere," said MAB President, Mr. Anwar Khan. "This will be an opportunity for the general community to get acquainted with their Muslim neighbors and each other."
