KeyLime Cove fundraising results

Nearly $48,000 was raised for Lake County community organizations through an initiative by KeyLime Cove Water Resort in Gurnee. Officials announced this week the annual Community Days fundraiser resulted in 1,779 water park day passes sold, accounting for $47,763 for the Lake County groups. Of that total, United Way of Lake County received $23,881, and the Gurnee police and fire departments each received $11,940 to support the agencies' community education programs. "Since the inception of Community Days in 2009, KeyLime Cove has raised nearly $500,000 in support of our own community's police and fire departments, as well as many organizations that directly impact families in Lake County," said general manager Dale McFarland. "We're honored to be a part of such an important and impactful effort."
