Anonapalooza July 17 to benefit Hope Outreach Foundation

The eighth annual Anonapalooza family summer fest will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at Good Templar Park, 528 East Side Drive in Geneva.

It will open with contemporary folk artist Beth Carlson at noon, followed by Gary & Monique performing an eclectic mix of classic rock, reggae and originals at 1 p.m.

The Jalopyz will perform rock, current covers and blues music at 1:45 p.m.

Alternative and indie rock artist Jenny Franck will perform at 3 p.m., followed by Phil Circle playing rock, jazz, blues and folk music at 4:45 p.m.

This year, there will be artist booths featuring James Murphy Sr. with oil painting, watercolor and pastels, Khrystyna Kozyuk with oil painting and acrylic and Sharon Spitzer with clay sculpture.

The festival also offers family friendly activities, including children's games, face painting, bounce house, and raffle, as well as food and refreshments. Afterward check out the vintage cars.

It is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. All proceeds will go toward the support of Hope Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing individuals recovering from alcohol and substance use disorders the opportunity to attend spiritually educational retreats to further support their recovery from addiction.
