Stop by classic car show Sunday in Elgin

The annual Classic Car Show returns from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at the Elgin History Museum, 360 Park St., Elgin. Admission is free.

This annual event had more than 300 attendees in 2015 and some very cool classic cars. Cars styles and years vary but if you love classic cars this is a must attend event to be put on your calendar.

The museum will be open for tours along with various drinks and food will be available for purchase. Live music will be provided by Rural Route One.

The museum will be open for tours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for those interested.

This event is being sponsored by the Chicagoland Thunderbirds Club and JPT Auto Shows, in partnership with Elgin History Museum. If you would like to enter your classic car, bring $10 for entry and come between 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Top 25 will be awarded at 3:30 p.m.
