Diversity brings division and strife
Donald Trump lives rent-free in columnist Kathleen Parker's head. She can't stop obsessing over him. In a recent essay, she blames him for aggravating the ethnic and political divisions which exist in this country.
Then, she exposes more of her ignorance and malice with the claim that Trumps followers, who want to "make America great again," really "want their majority-white, Anglo-Saxon, Judeo-Christian country back."
Trump did not bring division to this country. What brings division is what she and her liberal true-believers crave, diversity. That diversity brings division and strife is a matter of simple observation - worldwide. Parker's solution to division and strife is importing more diversity from around the world. Denial offers no solution to division and strife. A high fence, along with aggressive enforcement of immigration laws, does.
What does she have against white people, Anglo-Saxons, Jews and Christians? This is a stunning statement of provocation and racial and religious intolerance, considering what she has just written about Trump's people. Would we even have a United States of America organized under a constitution which protected the individual rights of citizens without a white majority? Are Anglo-Saxons, those with English ancestors, to be made into second-class citizens? Has the Bible and Christianity made no contributions to our political culture?
