  A tiny spider clings to an almost invisible web spun in the nylon netting of a softball field backstop at Judson University in Elgin. The net is made up of one-inch squares, and there were many tiny spiders making a home there. Perhaps they had recently emerged from their egg sack and found the right place to perfect their work. I used a 24-120mm zoom lens fully extended at F5.6 and used the lens refraction from the stadium lights to backlight the spider and soften the evening colors.   Audrey Ernst, of South Elgin is an international triathlon star. She placed 2nd overall at the ETU Junior Eurpean Cup in June. In March, she was second overall and the first American to finish in the Pan American Cup in Sarasota, Fla.
