The registration fee includes admission to the after-party and features "Head Red's pig roast; a lunch buffet catered by Ricardo's Ristorante; cuisine by Frato's Pizza and Catering; corn on the cob; and beverages. Live music is provide by Hip Pockit. Also at the after-party: a silent/live auction; door prizes; an opportunity to visit the Survivor Tent where all cancer survivors are invited to sign the giant teal ribbon; and a Teal marketplace selling T-shirts, pins, jewelry and more. Nonriders are welcome to the after-party for a donation of $20, beginning at noon until 4 p.m.

Scully is a 28-year stage three ovarian cancer survivor. The inaugural ride raised $25,600, the largest third party donation to the NOCC.

"I founded Ride for Hope as a charity to help spread awareness of this deadly women's disease," Scully said. "I chose to donate the proceeds to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) because they do an excellent job working to fund awareness and research of ovarian cancer, and to improve the quality of life for survivors."

To date, there is no early detection test for ovarian cancer; consequently, most cases are diagnosed in their later stages. Over 20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, and approximately 15,000 women die annually from the disease.
