Cars the stars Wednesday in Lake Zurich

People got a chance to peruse classic cars Wednesday night on Main Street in downtown Lake Zurich.

The July installment of the monthly Cruise Night featured about 100 vehicles from all eras.

The free event was open to any kind of car.

"We get modern muscle cars, we get classics and antiques," said PJ Zizich, owner of Fuzzy Dice Productions of Lake Zurich, who put on the show along with the village.

The night featured car trivia and raffles. Five trophies were awarded.

Cruise Night will continue the first Wednesday of the month through October.
