St. Charles winning Lotto ticket not yet claimed

Some lucky winner is walking around with a winning $450,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket purchased in St. Charles.

As of midday Tuesday no one has claimed the prize from Monday's evening drawing. The winning ticket matches the numbers 3, 5, 11, 17 and 21.

The ticket was bought at the St. Charles BP at 1745 E. Main St. The gas station will receive $4,500 for selling a winning ticket.

Illinois Lottery officials suggest signing the back of the ticket and putting it in a safe place until the person is able to visit one of the Lottery's Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. The winner has until July 4, 2017, to claim their prize.

In addition to the grand prize, more than 19,000 players won between $1 and $200 in the drawing, according to an Illinois Lottery news release.
