Springfield no longer serves the people

How can a man of any character at all not retire after over 30 years of driving this state into the ground?

The majority of politicians go to Springfield to serve the people, but not Madigan. He has not served the people. It is my opinion he thrives on the power position he has built over the years by any means he can - intimidation, redrawing congressional districts, controlling Democratic political contribution funds, continually squashing any hope of term limits, etc., etc.

The sad, pathetic thing is that all the politicians are afraid of him and follow him around like sheep. Springfield no longer serves the people, and it is time for the senators and representatives of both parties to stand up to this guy and bypass the failing leadership while there may still be time to financially save this state.

And for the sake of the state, Mr. Madigan, do for once an honorable thing and retire.
