Mundelein Days festival underway

Mundelein Days kicked off Friday in Kracklauer Park with music, food and games.

The fest goes through the holiday weekend, culminating in the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 4.

The carnival will be open 2-11 p.m. today through Monday, musical acts will take the stage and tent, and other attractions will be held in the gazebo.

The scheduled main stage acts are: Today, 5:30 p.m. Contrabanda (Latin, jazz, salsa); 8:30 p.m. Howard & The White Boys (blues).

Sunday's main stage is: 5 p.m. Adam Ezra Group (roots rock); 8 p.m. Final Say (Top 40 & classics).

On Monday the country band Back Country Road takes the stage at 5 p.m. and the country rock band Bella Cain plays at 8:30 p.m.
