Waukegan High School JROTC Drill Team minicamp is July 6-28

Waukegan High School's award-winning JROTC Bulldog Drill Team will be hosting its 16th annual Drill Team minicamp from July 6-28.

The camp runs from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, and is open to all incoming JROTC students at Waukegan High School as well as current JROTC Cadets. It is a great way for current drill team members to sharpen their skills, while also introducing basic skills to incoming freshmen, and other students who have never been part of the team. The camp is free. It will take place at the WHS-Washington Campus main gym and the JROTC Range.

The Bulldog Drill Team placed in the top 10 at The National High School Drill Team Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 and brought home the 2nd place overall National Title for 2016.

For details, contact varsity drill team coach 1st Sgt. Lloyd Cunningham, at lcunningham@wps60.org, or (847) 309-6406.
