Gov. Rauner has the right ideas

I would write my representative from the 56th District, but she is as big a part of the problem as Madigan and Cullerton, so I am writing you. Your newspaper appears to realize Illinois is going down due to greedy, power-hungry politicians who have spent years stealing money from the taxpayers to secure their own lives and agendas.

I believe Gov. Rauner is on the right track to turn Illinois around from being the crooked, laughable state it has become in the last 30 years. He is being held hostage by these same immoral politicians.

If term limits would be on the ballot this November, and the crooks were voted out of office, Illinois might have a chance. "When pigs fly"! It'll never happen here!

But I would still bet the farm on Gov. Rauner. If he was given the chance to end the corruption in Illinois, all the residents could once again be proud of this state. And, by the way, a good start would be a balanced budget.
