Doing nothing unacceptable
I would like to add my voice to the June 29 editorial on "Enough" of state government. There are so many people hurting in our state because funding of various agencies has been on hold. In some cases, the community has pitched in to fill in the shortfall, but this is not a long-term solution. Everywhere we go - schools, work, church - we are asked to "get along," listen to each other, compromise. Apparently, this does not apply to state government. I know the issues are not easy, but doing nothing is not the answer.
