Bub City's Mason jar shakes

Bub City in Rosemont is serving up shakes with its own country twist: They come in a Mason jar with a flavored rim. Flavors are: cookies and cream frosting with an Oreo cookie rim; vanilla with a cream cheese frosting and fresh and dried strawberries rim; cold brew coffee with a caramel and chocolate-covered espresso beans rim; salted caramel with a caramel and pretzels and chocolate rim; chocolate peanut butter banana with a chocolate ganache and banana and chocolate rim; chocolate with a chocolate ganache and Oreos and chocolate rim; and peanut butter with a peanut butter and chocolate and peanut butter brittle rim. Mon Ami Gabi's July 4 pajama brunch

Mon Ami Gabi says Happy Birthday, America with its pajama brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 4. Roll out of bed and hit up the rolling champagne cart or the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar while ordering a la carte from the brunch menu. Hofbrauhaus' beer garden menu

The Hofbrauhaus beer garden has its own specialty menu that includes salads, burgers, brats and desserts. Try the Kleine Schweinshaxen, five grilled mini pork shanks "hog wings" in HB Dunkel Bier BBQ sauce with Bavarian cabbage-bacon slaw and fries for $12.99 or the Schweinebauch Burger, a grilled beef and smoked pork belly burger topped with crisp bacon and Swiss cheese on a toasted pretzel bun with fries for $14.99.
