Torrington lineman commits to Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming coach Craig Bohl has received a verbal commitment from another prep prospect from the state.

Logan Harris of Torrington says he has decided to accept a scholarship offer to attend Wyoming after he completes his senior year in high school this fall. He will be part of the 2017 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Harris plays both defensive and offensive line for Torrington High School.

He says Wyoming coaches aren't sure whether he will play offensive guard or defensive tackle.

Harris says he will play wherever he's needed.

Harris earned Class 3A All-State honors last season. On defense, he recorded 50 tackles and 15 tackles for loss.

He also competes in track and field throwing events.

Bohl has signed at least one prospect from Wyoming each year.
