HOLBROOK, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on the deadly Arizona courthouse shooting (all times local):

Authorities say a deadly shooting at a county courthouse in eastern Arizona appears to have been prompted by a dispute that stemmed from a hearing earlier in the day.

Navajo County spokesman Adam Wolfe said the suspect opened fire Tuesday after meeting two women outside the courthouse following a custody hearing.

The two women died from their wounds. The suspect was taken into custody.

Authorities did not release any details about the dispute but said the incident was isolated. The names of the victims and the suspect were not immediately released.

Wolfe said the shooting happened near the end of the work day, forcing the courthouse to be locked down. Deputies eventually allowed employees to leave.

Wolfe said no employees were injured.

Authorities say two women are dead following a shooting at the entrance of a courthouse in eastern Arizona.

Navajo County sheriff's deputies and local law enforcement responded to the courthouse in Holbrook on Tuesday evening and found the two victims. Both died from their wounds.

County officials said a suspect was taken into custody, but no other information was released.

No other injuries were reported, and sheriff's deputies allowed county workers to leave the complex as homicide investigators worked the scene.

Authorities did not immediately release the names of the suspect or the victims.
