Elgin Harmony Fest returns July 19

The Midwest Harmony Alliance massed chorus will present Elgin Harmony Fest, a free concert, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Wing Park band shell, 1000 Wing St. in Elgin.

This is a free concert sponsored by the City of Elgin.

The Midwest Harmony Alliance is made up of approximately 60 men from three Northern Illinois Barbershop Chapters: Brotherhood of Harmony from Schaumburg, Fox Valley Men of Harmony from Elgin, and the Second City Chorus from Rockford. Quartets from each chapter also will perform plus a women's ensemble.

The songs will include Broadway show tunes, spiritual medleys, patriotic songs and many old favorites.
