Red Wings bringing back F Drew Miller on 1-year deal

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Drew Miller to a one-year deal.

The 32-year-old Miller will make $1.025 million, plus up to $350,000 in bonuses. Miller has 51 goals and 49 assists in 449 games with the Red Wings since joining them in 2009-10. He played for Tampa Bay and Anaheim prior to that.

Miller had only two points in 28 games for the Red Wings last season. He broke his jaw in early December and played only two games for Detroit after that. Miller did play 82 games in each of the previous two seasons.

The Red Wings announced Miller's deal Monday.
