CASA golf fundraiser

The 17th annual Golf for a Child Invitational hosted by CASA Lake County and CDW is Monday, June 27. The event will welcome more than 100 golfers to Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, where they will compete as teams of four in a scramble-style golf tournament. Terri Zenner Greenberg, executive director of CASA Lake County, said proceeds will go directly to sustaining and expanding CASA's child abuse and neglect advocacy programs. CASA Lake County recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers from the community to work with children in the courts due to cases of child abuse and neglect. In the past year, nearly 350 CASA Lake County volunteers advocated for more than 500 children in the court system.
