Grain lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 2.50 cents a bale lower at $4.56 a bushel; July corn was 8.50 cents higher at $3.8420 bushel; July oats was .25 cent higher at $2.0660 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 8.50 cents to $11.2860 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was 1.10 cents higher at $1.1645 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.98 cents higher at $1.4215 pound; July lean hogs lost .40 cent to $.8408 a pound.
