Bartlett Library celebrates popular video game at program

"Pokémon" battle sounds were heard all around when patrons entered the meeting room at the Bartlett Library on Tuesday, June 21, for the program "Pokémon Tournament."

Ten youth patrons were in attendance, either playing the "Omega Ruby" or "Alpha Sapphire" video games, coloring "Pokémon" pictures or watching episodes of the show.

The children interacted with each other joyfully, boasting about the "Pokémon" they caught in their video games.

There were also "Pokémon" books on display for patrons to check-out at the end of the program.

An upcoming Youth & Teen Services program is "Drop-in Crafts" on Friday, June 24, at 3 p.m. Join us for a fun summer craft! Children under age 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver age 16 or older.
