Algonquin summer concert series opens Thursday

The village of Algonquin invites you to this year's Algonquin Summer Concert Series.

Concerts are held at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Riverfront Park, 201 N. Harrison St. They will have a different food truck every week that will serve up food to go with music.

These trucks have dinner covered and these free concerts are a great way to enjoy the scenic Fox River with your family around a picnic dinner. Parking is available on and around North Harrison Street.

This week features live music from Tony Ocean and food from Toasty Cheese!

Come on down to the park for food, music, and fun!

On June 30, Gina Glocksen Band headlines the concert with food from Da Pizza Dude. It will be followed by the Senn Alan Band and food from the Calle Wagon on July 7, Second Hand Soul on July 14, Rebel Souls on July 21 and food from Best Truckin' BBQ, Pirates Over 40 on July 28 as part of Algonquin Founders' Days, Liberty's Teeth and food from Jack's Fork in the Road on Aug. 4, Centerfold on Aug. 11 with food from Best Truckin' BBQ, Libido Funk Circus on Aug. 18 with food from Toasty Cheese.
