North West Housing Partnership joins Residential Disaster Recovery Program

North West Housing Partnership has partnered with the Cook County Department of Planning and Development to provide grants for income-qualified residential homeowners in suburban Cook County who experienced flood damage in April/May 2013.

Qualified homeowners who own a single-family residence, as well as homes containing up to four units that incurred damages during the April/May 2013 flood, can receive the grant to assist with repairs.

Those that are approved for this program will also qualify for a program provided by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago's Competitive Affordable Housing program, another collaborative program created by NWHP in partnership with Chicago-based UP Development. This program provides monetary assistance for repairs and upgrades relating to energy efficiency and accessibility.
