New Zip Line at Kimball Hill Park

Rolling Meadows, IL- June 2016. The Rolling Meadows Park District is excited to share the addition of a sixty six foot zipline at Kimball Hill Park! This zipline is the largest one of its kind in the Chicagoland Area. The zipline features a 4 wheel trolley that easily glides back and forth, built in elevation to guide the rider to a safe stop, a unique color scheme and more! The sixty six foot track adds new life to an already great park.

The Rolling Meadows Park District has previously installed a similar, smaller model at Waverly Park and received rave reviews. Parents and kids alike enjoy the fun feature and are waiting in line to jump on.

The zipline offers developmental benefits such as upper and core body strength, problem solving skills and encourages the cooperation mentality. The project has started and is projected to be completed within the next couple of weeks. All movement in construction is weather permitting.
