Taken in North Carolina, Outer Banks, near Frisco.We love camping and do a lot of nature photography. My daughter was observing the pelican and it came pretty close to her. I started taking pictures in the hope for a nice shot of the pelican taking off. I absolutely love the motion of the pelican it looks almost unreal how it is in the air. Andreas Roelofs of Wheaton
