Route 60 to close near Route 120
The Illinois Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that Route 60 between Route 120 and Wilson Road in unincorporated Lake County will be closed to traffic beginning, weather permitting, Monday, June 20. It will remain closed until Friday, June 24. The closure is needed to repair a drainage structure beneath Route 60. To access eastbound Route 60, a posted detour will direct traffic east on Route 120 south on Wilson Road to Route 60. Westbound traffic should take the reverse route.
